Airbnb Experience: Abstract Layers

2.5 hour painting workshop

All instruction and supplies included

Open to all levels. Seasoned painters and first-time painters are wholeheartedly encouraged to join. If you're a beginner who has never painted or an experienced painter feeling creatively stuck and in need of a boost of fresh inspiration, this course is for you.

I invite you to spend an afternoon with me letting loose, slinging paint, and having fun. You’ll be guided every step of the way. I start with a brief meditation, intention setting, and art journaling prompts followed by several guided intuitive painting exercises.

Included are tips for setting up your painting station, mark making, color and composition, techniques for building layers, and so much more. In the name of freedom and play, and utilizing a variety of acrylic paint and mixed media materials.

All art supplies (paint, watercolor paper, and a canvas) are included.I will share abstract painting techniques and lay out steps to create richly layered paintings. I’ll share my process for building texture and depth. Using a variety of tools, mediums, and palettes, we will create intuitive and planned compositions through several guided exercises.

Perfect. I met and spent time with wonderful people, in a beautiful space, where we were all supported to be as free and creative as we could allow ourselves to be. The whole experience was cathartic.
